Uniform Advantage Relaunches Scholarship Program through 91ÇÑ×Ó’s Foundation for Academic Nursing

WASHINGTON, DC, January 3, 2024 – The American Association of Colleges of Nursing (91ÇÑ×Ó) is pleased to announce that Uniform Advantage, a leading multi-channel retailer of medical scrubs and uniforms, has committed $30,000 to supporting a scholarship program open to graduate nursing students attending 91ÇÑ×Ó member schools. First launched in 2019, the Uniform Advantage-GNSA Scholarship Program was created to support nursing students pursuing master’s or doctoral degrees who are members of 91ÇÑ×Ó’s Graduate Nursing Student Academy (GNSA). This new funding commitment will ensure continuation of this scholarship through 2028 under the administration of 91ÇÑ×Ó’s Foundation for Academic Nursing.

“Supporting future leaders of the nursing profession is critical to meeting the nation’s need for nurse researchers, faculty, policymakers, and innovators,” said 91ÇÑ×Ó President and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Deborah Trautman. “We applaud our valued partners at Uniform Advantage for taking action to recognize outstanding graduate nursing students for their potential to re-envision nursing practice and elevate patient care.”

The Uniform Advantage-GNSA Scholarship Program is open to nursing students in master’s or doctoral programs who are committed to making a positive impact on the nation’s health and health care. With two $2,500 scholarships awarded annually, the deadline to apply for the first award in 2024 is January 31. Applicants must be enrolled in and be (membership is free). .
